Justin has attempted to put up our lights a number of times this year and something has gone wrong or come up every time. Last Monday night we decided that for FHE we would try to hang them one last time. Well, of course, it snowed that day and was freezing cold. Every time he tried to get on the roof, he would slide right off. So, we are sad to say, there will not be any lights at 624 Eagle Way this year. He did put forth a great effort, though.

At least you have a beautiful live Christmas tree!! How funny! I'm not sure if Justin is like Jonathan, but I'm picturing Jonathan getting frustrated at doing that and me laughing so hard. I for some reason find it so funny when he gets mad at non-living objects-not very nice I know!
My your house looks tall from that angle. :) Poor Justin, at least he gave it a try. Jarom won't even attempt it on my house, not that I can blame him, I wouldn't either. An I love that Scotty got his photo on the blog. :)
Ha ha-- that is funny in a sad way. We didn't even try to put our lights up on the roof-- they're around the window and porch and over the garage. At least the kids are having fun, right?
It's probably for the best. This way he'll have time to read the instruction manual first.
Wow - you mentioned Scotty and fun in the same post. You must be feeling lots of Christmas cheer.
The picture of them in the snow is so cute. Frameable! Poor Justin! I'm with Elena. At least he gave it a try...more than his other brothers.
I was hoping for the Clark Grizwald light display. Maybe next year.
McKinley makes it point to tell everyone that we don't have Christmas lights. Chandler almost died last year, and I'm glad Justin didn't have the same fate!
