Last year we went to the mountains to get a Christmas tree for our family and had so much fun, we decided to make it a tradition. So, early Saturday morning, we headed to the mountains in search of another Christmas tree. We didn't have a lot of time to search, but still had a great time. The kids loved riding around in the sled as Justin pulled them over anything in the way. We eventually found a tree that we thought would work. It had nice firm branches and seemed really full. That is, until we got it home and had to cut off a few feet from the bottom to fit it in our house. We didn't realize that was where the fullest part was.

So cute! I love tall, skinny trees-they are my favorite. It looks perfect! What a fun tradition!
Does Al know you cut this tree down? I hope you sleep well tonight.
Hey Clark - did you bring the saw this year or just use the 4-wheel drive to pull it out by the roots? The tree looks pretty tall - I wonder where you're going to put a tree that big.
I see you kicked off your fun old fashion family Christmas by heading out into the country in the old front-wheel drive sleigh to embrace the frosty majesty of the winter landscape and select that most important of Christmas symbols.
The most enjoying traditions of the season are best enjoyed in the warm embrace of kith and kin. Thith tree is a thymbol of the thpirit of the Manwaring family Chrithmath.
Looks great! I especially love the shot of you in your church clothes crawling around on the floor. :)
Gorgeous! Nice work!
PS Your brother's are too funny!
I love it! Next year we'll do this again-- it's so much fun!
