Today Justin's older sister, Katie, turns 34. Katie is the proud mother of five beautiful girls and what a good mother she is. We hope you have a great day, Katie, even if your birthday happens to fall on BYU's opening game. We hope you get treated extra nice!

School is here!!!

The girls finally started school today! Anna has been pretty excited and Ellie kept telling us she wasn't, but I think her true feelings came out at about 4 o'clock this morning when she had a stomach ache and couldn't sleep. I remember always being so nervous and getting sick to my stomach when school started, too. Poor girl.

These girls are so excited to get to go to the same school this year! Ellie kept asking Anna if she wanted to play with her at recess today. I love what good friends they've become!

Books for Sale!

The other night the kids were outside playing and Ellie came inside to borrow a stool or something to put her books on. I had no idea what they were doing, but that's pretty common around here. After a while, though, Ellie ran inside saying she got a dollar. When I asked her where she got it, she said they sold a book. What book? you ask. Oh, only very special books. They tore pages out of their coloring books, colored them slightly, and then glued the edges together to bind them. I still can't believe someone paid a dollar for one of those books. I ran outside to take a picture of the scene and there was someone else stopped to buy a book. All I can say is they must be some cute kids!

Fishing!

On Saturday, I took the girls and Truman school shopping, so Justin and Ogden headed fishing. Ogden was so excited and proud of the three fish he caught! Way to go, bud!

Wii Fit!

We got out the wii fit while some of our friends were over the other night and had a blast! All I have to say is, Chandler and Celeste, you rock!!

This is a late birthday wish to our super-cute nephew, Eli. Eli's birthday was actually Sunday, but I've had a few computer problems this week and couldn't get to posting for him until today. Thanks for letting us share your party with you, though. Hope your day was great.

The Gregg Manwaring Family Reunion

This past weekend was our reunion with Justin's family. On Saturday, we went to Heise for some swimming. The kids had a ton of fun and Anna even got rescued by a lifeguard twice (a little embarrassing). I think she's a little more confident in her swimming abilities than everyone else is. The lifeguards were a little anxious to help, but we were sure glad to know they were paying attention.
